When the liquid is aggressive or unknown. Hazmat sorbents are designed not to degrade or react on contact with aggressive chemicals, and their yellow color signals caution to everyone nearby.

Zipper bag, mini and vehicle kits cover small spills, 5 gallon buckets cover small to medium ones, and 20, 30, 55 and 95 gallon drums, wheeled DASH bins, Mobile Kaddies, cabinets and spill stations cover larger areas.
